    The Lead Technical Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that align with the company's technology roadmap and business objectives.

    In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies and architectural best practices will be instrumental in designing and optimizing our software systems.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
    Design and build innovative solutions within the Microsoft technology stack that help lead fundamental changes to our business.

    Analyze business needs and define requirements to develop specifications.


    Conduct in-depth analysis of BW business needs and propose appropriate technical solutions based on Microsoft technologies and industry best practices.

    Design, architect, and develop applications with a focus on maintainability, performance, and security.

    Utilize expertise in Microsoft technologies to architect and deploy cloud-based solutions whenever possible.

    Implement best practices for software development, code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards.


    Mentor and lead the development team members in the Chennai office, providing technical guidance and support throughout the software development life cycle.


    Conduct code review with junior team members and ensure that work produced is of high quality and adheres to organizational and best practices.


    Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in application development related technologies, and propose improvements to the existing systems accordingly.

    Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the overall reliability of the software applications.

    Respond to ad-hoc support requests from members of the business and IT.

    Propose software solutions, determining the cost of new versus modified systems.

    Utilize experience with relational databases to interchange or integrate data to and from back-end databases or services.

    Test for functionality and responsiveness across a variety of web-enabled devices or browsers.

    Manage user support and feedback.


    Job Specifications:
    The Lead Technical Consultant must demonstrate the ability to:

    Develop and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally.

    Create and meet timelines and deadlines.

    Perform work with minimal supervision.

    Handle complex issues & problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

    Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members when needed.


    Required Education and Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Math, Engineering, or related field.


    Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a strong focus on Microsoft .NET Framework, .Net Core Framework & MVC Framework.

    Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform like Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI.

    Experience on Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and Cloud-related technologies.

    Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and best practices.

    Knowledge and development test cases.

    Proficiency in designing and working with RESTful APIs and microservices.

    Strong knowledge of database design and optimization

    Knowledge on iPaaS or any Integration technologies.


    Work Environment:
    Work is typically performed in a standard office setting working at a desk or table on a level surface.

    Position Type:


    This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.


    Travel:
    Travel is not a requirement of this position, but may asked on an occasional basis.#LI-NN1
