Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

The role will entail, but is not limited to strong Partnership, Engagement and Influence of development team and their extended teams within Equities Technology.
A sound appreciation for Business aligned Applications are essential to relate tools, data and process to valuable operational and transformative outcomes.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Working knowledge in one or more general purpose programming languages, plus an interest in learning other coding languages and skills as needed
Working knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
Works with team members to identify areas of focus, where training may improve team performance, and improve incident resolution.
Engage in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to enhance Production Standards and controls.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Production support experience in a financial industry is preferred.
Proficient in Unix and a scripting language like Python.
Experience working with enterprise scheduler (such as Control-M or Autosys)
Experience working on ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, JIRA etc.
Monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, GENEOS, etc.
Should be ready to work in shifts.
Excellent communication, analytical problem solving skills and have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
