Job Title: Environmental Engineering Project Assistant

Company: Pinaka Construction Solutions

Location: Nagpur, India (Remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Environmental Engineering Project Assistant to join our team at Pinaka Construction Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) report drafting, due diligence, and providing technical support to our Environmental Managers.

Responsibilities:

Draft Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) reports and Phase II Environmental Site Investigation reports in accordance with ASTM Standards and client requirements.
Provide support to Environmental Managers in various work scopes including environmental site characterization, monitoring, permitting, regulatory reporting, and residential and commercial construction.
Read maps and drawings to gather relevant information for reports.
Analyze data and provide conclusion recommendations based on findings.
Incorporate photos into reports to enhance clarity and understanding.
Assist in the development and management of environmental projects.
Create and update technical reports including Phase I and Phase II ESA reports, Remedial Investigation reports/Feasibility Studies, and Cleanup Action plans and reports.
Utilize Geographical Information System (GIS) software for data analysis and mapping (experience with GIS software is a plus).
Ensure accuracy and quality in all written and typed reports.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, hydrogeology, geochemistry, geology, or related fields.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Google Workspace & Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Prior experience with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments preferred but not required.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting maps and drawings.
Familiarity with ASTM Standards and regulatory requirements.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work remotely and independently with access to a personal laptop.
