Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments to understand procurement needs and requirements.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage the procurement process from purchase order to delivery, ensuring timely and costeffective acquisition of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and industry developments to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Work closely with the finance department to process payments and resolve any billing issues.
- Implement strategies to optimize procurement processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Purchase Officer, preferably in the jewellery manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of successfully outsourcing tools, small equipment, and subcontracting.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Salary:
₹1,540, ₹1,874,130.87 per year
