    Description

    Job Description

    The person will take on theresponsibility for ensuring the budget is produced in a timely manner andcontrolled throughout the year with required analysis/liaison required with theother teams and timely reporting to the donors as per the requirement. He/shewill collaborate and work alongside our existing employees in completing theassigned tasks.

    Primaryresponsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and managing annual budgetswith adequate controls, effective monitoring and reporting
  • Effectively manage donor fundutilisation including providing real-time visibility for program teams anddonors, preparing fund utilisation reports, and required liason with programteams
  • Design effectivebudget models for various programs and the entire company
  • Analyze financialinformation (e.g. revenues, expenditures and cash management) to ensure alloperations are within budget
  • Present annualbudgets to senior managers
  • Forecast futurebudget needs based on conversations with program heads and previous trends
  • Identify variancesbetween actual and budgeted financial results at the end of each reportingperiod
  • Review the company'sbudget for compliance with legal and FCRA regulations
  • Ensure departmentmanagers meet budget submission deadlines
  • Design and implementeffective budgeting policies and procedures
  • Cashflow management
  • Support in donorconversations/donor audit as required

    • EducationQualification / Experience:

  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Professional qualification (CA / CMA) required
  • Prior experience with trust / societyaccounting would be an advantage

    • Knowledge,Skills and Abilities:

  • Good Interpersonal and communicationskills
  • Good working knowledge in MS officepackages including Excel
  • Resourceful, responsible, andself-starting
  • Ability to manage data efficiently.
