Information Security Audit Planning and Strategy
Working in coordination with the Group Risk Office and Information Security GRC Manager,

  • Work closely with business to understand the information security requirements in line with the service design and operation, industry best practice, service level requirements and operational best practice for information security management (ISM).
  • Develop an information security audit strategy aligned to service and operational requirements of the organisation.
  • Review compliance and attestation criteria for business requirements to develop audit methodologies and an information security audit schedule, planning, execute audits and reporting.
  • Ensure that a full security assessment, including a vulnerability scan and penetration test is carried out so that an information security strategy is developed and aligned to service and operational requirements. They consider technical requirements and implications of service and business levels and develop the information security design criteria, verifying that the solution design meets ISM requirements.

Reviews include

  • Baseline Security Compliance Review (minimum compliance for areas not certified or independently audited)
  • Internal Audit (supporting various certification and compliance audits)
  • External Audits (certification and attestation audits for product & services)
  • Technology Fit Assessment (TFA evaluate security and appropriateness fit of proposed technology solutions)
  • Threat and Risk Assessments (TRA threat modelling for operational, product, service and operational changes with significant control or technology implications)
  • Vendor Security Evaluation (vendor review to support procurement, legal and contract, and infernal consumption)
  • Data Privacy Impact Assessment (support Group Privacy with Data privacy impact assessments)
  • Control Risk Self Assessments (self assessment for OpCo, affiliate)
  • ISI27001 minimum control requirements (self assessment for product and service owners)
