Your Role and Responsibilities

  • Employees in this role define and use design documentation, functional programming specifications, and high level design documents to implement identified components.
  • Ensure implemented components are documented appropriately, unit tested, and ready for integration into the final product.
  • Present/demonstrate implemented product features through playback sessions as required.
  • Provide fixes to defects identified during preproduction and postproduction phases in the software development life cycle.
  • Provide work estimates for assigned development work.
  • Guide and explain features, functional objectives, or technologies that are being built to interested parties.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Implement distributed queuing on various platforms and clustering mechanism to reduce the administrative tasks.
  • Manage database objects like tablespace, user, table, Index, roles, privileges, profiles, DB Links, materialized views, partitioning, synonyms, sequences, views and indexes and other database objects etc.
  • Create physical/logical standby database and performing switchover and failover.
  • Drive performance & tuning, monitoring the performance using tools Preferred Skills.
  • Operating System: Red Hat Linux, Solaris.
  • RDBMS: Oracle 19c, 18c, 12c,11g with RAC, ZDLRA, Exadata, ZFS.
  • Big Data: Hadoop, Exadata.
  • Languages: Sql, pl/sql, Java.
  • Other Tools: Toad, X
  • Manager, OSWatcher, OEM, Kintana (HP-Mercury), APEX, Dell Shareplex, Zabbix, AppDynamics etc.
  • Ticketing System: Service-Now, Remedy, JIRA, iService, DMS, ISM etc.
  • DR: Standby Database/Active Data guard Administration/Golden Gate.
  • Backup and Recovery, Performance Tuning.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Strong Architect Skills in Oracle Engineering System like Exadata, ZDLRA, Oracle Audit, OEM Implement distributed queuing on various platforms and clustering mechanism to reduce the administrative tasks.
  • Ticketing System: Service-No.

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree
