Data Architect / Sr. Data Architect

Responsibilities

Define the technical architecture, data model, and performance of data solutions; influence change and enforce data best practices, standards, and governance; assess scope and define timelines, plans, and roadmap.
Recommend, design, build and implement data solutions on both onprem and cloud environments
Design & Develop Data Governance solution, Data masking, Data profiling, Data encryption for complex enterprise data ecosystems.
Provide expertise and leadership on making technical decisions, mentoring junior team members, and focusing on delivering an architecture that provides business value
Acquire, analyze, combine, synthesize, and store data from a wide range of internal and external sources as it pertains to system development
Documenting architecture at multiple levels (highlevel to detailed) and across multiple views (conceptual, logical, physical, data flow and sequence diagrams).
Demonstrated experience translating Business and technical requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
Define the technical design for solutions, design POC's and prototypes and guide the solutions through SDLC
Drives and manages the development (and maintenance) of all solution data architecture metadata using Enterprise Tooling and exposing metadata via Data Catalogues.
Works across teams to identify existing data designs, patterns, tools, or techniques that may facilitate or expedite delivery.

Requirements:

years of professional work experience as a Data Architect

Advanced experience with cloud computing, cloud Architect, cloud migration
Highly experienced in implementing Data masking solution, Data governance, Data Security & Data Encryption.
Design and build data processing components and systems utilizing cloud compute technologies
Mastery of core Data Architecture skills including Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Modelling (ERD, Dimensional), Data Warehouse Design (Kimball, Inmon), Big Data Design (Lambda, Kappa), Data Lifecycle management, Master Data Management & implementation patterns, Data Integration patterns and methods.
Mastery of technologies involved in data management is required (database management systems, data services, data lakes, etc.).
Deep understanding relational database systems, modern Datawarehouse platforms like BigQuery, Redshift & Synapse
Minimum two end 2 end implementation of cloud project starting from Ingestion, Data Preparation, transformation & Persistence
Experience building and automating data system components that enable
Data acquisition, cleansing, and persistence data engineering
Experience with cloud technologies such as Storage solutions Google Cloud storage, S3, ADLS, Datalake, Bigtable, Redshift, Synapse, ADF, ADB etc
Experience with analytics tools such Dataproc, Databricks & BigQuery.
