    Description

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Business Systems and Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a proven track record in gathering and analysing requirements, developing functional specifications, and creating detailed system documentation. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead requirements gathering workshop and conduct thorough requirement gathering, data analysis, and gap analysis.

    Develop and maintain detailed system documentation, including business requirements document, functional specifications, data flow diagrams, and process maps.

    Analyze operational data to examine past business performance and identify patterns and trends.

    Translate data into valuable insights and recommendations to drive targeting and segmentation strategies.

    Translate business needs into technical specifications and system requirements.

    Provide support in developing non-functional requirements.

    Work closely with development and quality assurance team to provide detailed understanding of end to end functionality

    Develop test documents and assist in validation for various business use cases.

    Assume ownership of problems and drive towards their resolution.

    Train and support various business and technology teams as necessary.

    Be proactive in identifying and communicating risks.

    Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

    Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.

    Conduct user acceptance testing and business verification.

    Utilize collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, etc., for iterative delivery using scrum/Kanban.

    Proficient in Microsoft Word, PPT, Excel and data analysis tools.

    Excellent documentation skills

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

    8 or more years of experience in analytics and systems development

    Ability to make decisions, provide direction, manage stakeholders, influence outcomes, identify risks/issues, share knowledge, collaborate, and create content.

    Self-starter with the ability to work successfully in a team environment with drive.

    High proficiency with SQL and database management

    Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, AWS QuickSight, QlikView, and Tableau

    Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.

    Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
