- Expert level knowledge of Palo Alto & Checkpoint firewalls including blades.
- Proficiency in monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with LAN/WAN and network protocols.
- Handson experience with Tufin or Algosec Solutions.
- Knowledge of scripting languages.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage support cases with external technology vendors.
- Provide engineering and operational support for firewalls across multiple platforms within the client infrastructure.
- Manage and configure firewalls on a 24x7 basis, ensuring smooth operations.
- Handle various firewall blades including VPN, IPS, URL Filtering, and Application Control.
- Execute firewall policy changes, conduct analysis, and perform cleanup as necessary.
- Offer visibility and insight to assist customers with firewall activity and usage information.
- Act as the first responder to monitored alerts, incidents, and issues.
- Coordinate, triage, and troubleshoot activities with customers, teams, and vendors.
- Ensure tasks are executed according to established standards, procedures, and processes.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with customers and peers across different time zones and countries.
