    Overview :


    As a Firewall Technical Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing engineering and operational support for the Firewall Management Service, ensuring 24x7 firewall support.

    Collaborating closely with client groups and vendors, you will deliver exceptional customer support and maintain a highly available agile infrastructure.

    This role demands strong leadership, communication skills, and expertise in core technical competencies.


    Primary Responsibilities :

    • Provide engineering and operational support for firewalls across multiple platforms within the client infrastructure.
    • Manage and configure firewalls on a 24x7 basis, ensuring smooth operations.
    • Handle various firewall blades including VPN, IPS, URL Filtering, and Application Control.
    • Execute firewall policy changes, conduct analysis, and perform cleanup as necessary.
    • Offer visibility and insight to assist customers with firewall activity and usage information.
    • Act as the first responder to monitored alerts, incidents, and issues.
    • Coordinate, triage, and troubleshoot activities with customers, teams, and vendors.
    • Ensure tasks are executed according to established standards, procedures, and processes.
    • Communicate and collaborate effectively with customers and peers across different time zones and countries.

    Preferred certifications :
    Palo Alto/Prisma Certified, Checkpoint Certified, Cisco Certified, ITIL Foundation Certified.
