- Performing senior position roles alongside BAU activities such as Regulatory reporting, FX coordination, static setup, and accounting signoffs.
- Undertaking other adhoc duties as necessary.
- Supporting the Manager with adhoc and day-to-day specific requirements.
- Preparing and reviewing documents/agreements when needed.
- Facilitating basic static data setup for custodian operations (e.g., client master, ISIN, position limit, etc.).
- Managing Cash/FX flows concerning custodian operations and clients.
- Ensuring regular accounting is conducted according to group standards.
- Providing timely signoffs to regional/APAC Finance teams.
- Conducting client cash account reconciliation and security reconciliation.
- Engaging with regulators and other entities for necessary reporting compliance as a Custodian.
- Developing an understanding of Conduct principles by encouraging staff participation in awareness and training sessions related to Anti-Money Laundering/Financial Sanctions (AML/FS) responsibilities.
- Being part of the control framework for AML/FS topics, ensuring adherence to Group Policies, executing operational controls, and promptly escalating any issues for analysis and decision-making to the relevant authority.
- Assisting the Head of Cross-functions Operations with various administrative tasks.
- Participating in UAT of back-office software for Clearing & Settlement and Regulatory reporting.
- Interacting with Clients/Regulatory entities to address operational issues.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Proactive and logical approach to tasks.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative.
