    Description

    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a talented SAP ABAP developer with expertise in Core Data Services (CDS) Views and OData services to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP applications, reports, and interfaces using ABAP programming language, CDS Views, and OData services.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications, reports, and interfaces using ABAP programming language.
    • Create and optimize Core Data Services (CDS) Views for data modeling and consumption.
    • Develop OData services to expose SAP data to external systems and applications.
    • Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
    • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ABAP programs to ensure high quality and performance.
    • Implement best practices and standards for ABAP development, CDS Views, and OData services.
    • Integrate SAP applications with external systems using OData services, RFCs, and other interfaces.
    • Provide technical support and expertise to resolve issues related to ABAP development, CDS Views, and OData services.
    • Document technical designs, specifications, and test plans for ABAP developments.
    • Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, tools, and trends, particularly in ABAP development, CDS Views, and OData services.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Strong experience in SAP ABAP development, including ABAP Objects, ABAP Dictionary, and ABAP Workbench.
    • Proficiency in Core Data Services (CDS) Views development, including defining data models, associations, and annotations.
    • Hands-on experience in developing OData services using SAP Gateway or SAP NetWeaver.
    • Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 development and SAP HANA database concepts (preferred).
    • Understanding of SAP integration technologies such as RFCs, IDocs, and Web Services.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
    • SAP certification in ABAP development (preferred).
