You'll help deliver reporting, analysis and commentary on the financial position and performance of our Financial Management Group.
This opportunity will see you become part of a global network with opportunities to build connections across different businesses, regions and offices.
To be successful in this role, you will have a postgraduate accounting qualification or similar and have a good understanding of accounting standards and fundamental accounting concepts.
- Financial accounting and reporting including analysis and commentary on the financial position and performance of the entities, businesses or group.
- Month end close (including journal entries) like revenue booking, expense accounting, cash and suspense clearing, transfer pricing accounting, interco breaks clearing, reconciliation and attestation of balance sheet items.
- Investment accounting for example, accounting for associates, JVs, subsidiary consolidation and deconsolidation, etc.
- Daily, monthly or periodic reporting related to daily P&L, income statement analysis, balance sheet analysis, key revenue or expense drivers, debtors, P&L controls, reconciliation, breaks & ageing, etc.
- Statutory reporting: Monthly, quarterly or annual preparation of income statement, balance sheet and other financial statement notes including variance analysis and commentaries for legal entities.
- Liaising with external auditors for effective management of audit deliverables within timeframes, ensuring the integrity and completeness of financial records and compliance with finance control standards.
