    Description

    Roles and Responsibilities :

    Test Planning and Strategy :

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans and strategies.

    Automation Development :

    • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Pytest and Pytest-Selenium for web application testing.

    Domain Expertise :

    • Leverage strong domain knowledge in the areas of Cloud technologies, Linux systems, and Virtualization to design and execute effective test scenarios.

    Test Execution :

    • Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and provide detailed reports on the status of test executions.

    Continuous Integration :

    • Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for early detection of defects.

    Cloud Testing :

    • Perform testing of applications deployed in cloud environments, ensuring compatibility and scalability.

    Linux and Virtualization Testing :

    • Conduct testing on Linuxbased systems and virtualized environments to validate system functionality.

    Defect Tracking :

    • Identify, document, and track software defects using appropriate tools, providing detailed information to facilitate resolution.

    Collaboration with Development Team :

    • Work closely with the development team to understand system architecture, functionalities, and code changes, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.

    Performance Testing :

    • Collaborate with performance testing teams to ensure the scalability and reliability of applications under various load conditions.

    Automation Best Practices :

    • Implement and promote best practices in automation testing, ensuring maintainability and scalability of test suites.

    Documentation :

    • Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results.

    Collaborative Problem Solving :

    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing clear and concise communication.

    Stay Updated on Industry Trends :

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies related to automated testing, Cloud, Linux, and Virtualization.

    Requirements :

    • Strong understanding of Python & its advanced features.
    • String programming experience using Python-Selenium framework.
    • Strong understanding of IaaS (Public/Private cloud), Linux and hypervisor.
    • Knowledge of REST API and some familiarity with any serverside language and databases is preferred

    Qualifications And Experience :

    • 510 years of experience developing API & UI tests and test automation.
