Job Description:


  • Installation and Configuration: Installing and configuring the SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS components of SQL Server, ensuring proper connectivity, and setting up the necessary services and configurations.
  • Design and Development: Collaborating with business users, data analysts, and developers to design and develop ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using SSIS, create reports using SSRS, and build analytical models and cubes using SSAS.

Data Integration:

Creating and maintaining SSIS packages to extract data from various sources, transform it according to business rules, and load it into the target database or data warehouse.

This includes managing data connectivity, implementing data transformations, error handling, and scheduling and monitoring package execution.

  • Analysis Services: Designing and implementing multidimensional or tabular models using SSAS, including defining dimensions, hierarchies, measures, and calculated members. Creating data mining models and configuring analysis services for optimal performance and query response times.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitoring and optimizing the performance of SSIS packages, SSRS reports, and SSAS cubes. Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks, tuning queries, and optimizing data loading and processing to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
  • Security and

Access Control:
Managing user access and security permissions for SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS components. Defining roles, permissions, and data-level security to ensure appropriate access to data and resources.

  • Troubleshooting and

Issue Resolution:
Identifying and resolving issues and errors related to SSIS package execution, SSRS report rendering, and SSAS cube processing. Troubleshooting data integration problems, report rendering issues, and data model inconsistencies.

  • Deployment and

Release Management:

Managing the deployment and release of SSIS packages, SSRS reports, and SSAS solutions to different environments (development, testing, production).

Ensuring proper version control, configuration management, and documentation.

  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitoring the health and performance of SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS environments. Setting up monitoring tools and alerts, managing server resources, and performing routine maintenance tasks such as backups, index maintenance, and statistics updates.
