Environment Social and Governance, Sustainability (ESG &
Sustainability)

Role:
Associate ESG

Qualification:
Bachelors in Civil / Mechanical Engineering / Chemical
Engineering (required)
MBA or Degree in Sustainability or Environmental Sciences is a plus.

Years of experience:
Upto 3 to 5 years

General expectation:

Interested in pursuing a career in EHS / ESG, Sustainability and Climate Change
Passion for the chosen area (e.g. ESG, Climate Change, Sustainability)

Mix of proportion of work, could change based on client and Udbhata priorities
from time to time.

Research (20%)
Research the module related information (e.g. BRSR report of SEBI provides a
reporting template, global frameworks in place for ESG, Climate Change)

Consulting (60%)
Research (peer companies, ESG activities by ESG rating providers, ESG themes
and mitigating actions)
Analyse ESG data (e.g. Energy consumption, Greenhouse gas emissions)
Prepare templates, validate templates of clients
Study proposed projects for ESG (timelines, cost-benefit proposals)
Help with using tools to prioritize ESG projects
Analyse client policies and implementation vis-à-vis Sustainability reporting (ESG
reporting or as part of BRSR Reporting)
Prepare write ups for ESG report, BRSR report or other
Engage with clients actively, facilitate data gathering

Product Design (20%)
Create workflows
Create mock-ups of screens for software
Participate in group sessions to discuss and finalise a design

Essential skills:

Ability to use MS Powerpoint, MS Excel, MS Word and Design and Collaboration
tools for visual design
Eye for detail and maintains accuracy
Diligence
Logical thinker
Ability to contribute in teams
Independently complete assigned tasks and follow through on open actions
Help kick start a career in Sustainability / EHS ESG
Learning in current topics in this area
Hands on knowledge in ESG consulting and execution
Able to connect the dots between ESG requirements and automation (via product
development and onboarding clients)

Salary:
₹450, ₹600,000.00 per year
