Position Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maintain consistent contact and provide sales and service to all retailers and distributors in the assigned region.
  • Ensure optimum utilization of resources, particularly sales/promotional budget, within the region.
  • Assist the Area Sales Manager (ASM) with promotional ideas to increase business within the region.
  • Achieve sales revenue numbers, budget, and profit goals for the assigned region.
  • Assist in managing monthly/quarterly/annual sales budgets and objectives within the region.
  • Utilize syndicated data to identify sales opportunities and develop sales presentations for the assigned region.
  • Provide feedback to management from key retail and distributor customers.
  • Make regularly scheduled sales calls to all major customers within the region.
  • Provide monthly sales reports, monthly expense reports, and any assigned reports to the Area Sales Manager promptly.
  • Maintain regular contact with retailers and distributors to ensure seamless continuity of efforts.
  • Execute sales volume numbers, trade spending objectives, and any other goals given by the ASM.
  • Interact with marketing for sales support materials and initiatives.
  • Identify and track all industry trends and issues, recommending action plans to the Area Sales Manager.
  • Implement tracking/reporting tools in conjunction with Finance, Customer Service, etc.
  • Track and report all competitive activities within the region.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 010 years of experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably in the FMCG or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
