Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain consistent contact and provide sales and service to all retailers and distributors in the assigned region.
- Ensure optimum utilization of resources, particularly sales/promotional budget, within the region.
- Assist the Area Sales Manager (ASM) with promotional ideas to increase business within the region.
- Achieve sales revenue numbers, budget, and profit goals for the assigned region.
- Assist in managing monthly/quarterly/annual sales budgets and objectives within the region.
- Utilize syndicated data to identify sales opportunities and develop sales presentations for the assigned region.
- Provide feedback to management from key retail and distributor customers.
- Make regularly scheduled sales calls to all major customers within the region.
- Provide monthly sales reports, monthly expense reports, and any assigned reports to the Area Sales Manager promptly.
- Maintain regular contact with retailers and distributors to ensure seamless continuity of efforts.
- Execute sales volume numbers, trade spending objectives, and any other goals given by the ASM.
- Interact with marketing for sales support materials and initiatives.
- Identify and track all industry trends and issues, recommending action plans to the Area Sales Manager.
- Implement tracking/reporting tools in conjunction with Finance, Customer Service, etc.
- Track and report all competitive activities within the region.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 010 years of experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably in the FMCG or related industry.
- Strong understanding of sales techniques, strategies, and principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to identify opportunities.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
