    Description

    Job Description:

    We are looking for a talented Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. The SRE will ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems and applications by combining software development and systems engineering for large-scale distributed fault-tolerant systems.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Infrastructure Management: Design, build, and maintain high-volume, high-availability infrastructure.
    • Monitoring and Incident Response: Develop monitoring strategies to detect and resolve system issues proactively. Participate in on-call rotations for incident management.
    • Automation: Automate tasks to enhance system efficiency and reliability. Implement CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments.
    • Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize system performance, troubleshoot latency issues, and improve system throughput.
    • Capacity Planning: Forecast system capacity and prepare for scaling needs. Ensure systems are robust enough to handle increased loads.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with software engineers, QA, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable services.
    • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation on system architecture and processes.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
    • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or Ruby.
    • Strong knowledge of networking, security, and system administration.

    Requirements

    SKILLS:

    • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
    • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication and collaboration capabilities.
    • Experience in database management (SQL, NoSQL).
    • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
    • Certification in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) is a plus.
