    Description

    Vandey provides outsourced instructional services to institutions of higher education and is seeking a candidate to work for Vandey to serve in a full-time role as a Project Manager with the University of the People.

    University of the People (UoPeople) is the first non-profit, tuition-free, American, accredited, 100% online university.

    We believe that higher education is a basic human right and that it can transform not only the lives of students, but also their families' lives, their communities, their nations, and, by extension, the world.

    The Project Manager role can help the university transform lives and reach our 1 million students' goal by contributing towards success of the internal projects with efficient utilization of the resources.

    GENERAL-


    PURPOSE:


    The Value centric Project manager can contribute significantly to the success of the projects, efficient utilization of the resources, and help a business in achieving strategic objectives.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/


    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Project management – Planning and tracking of goals, key milestones, and critical paths, help leads work out prioritizationAnalyzing financial data and keeping track of project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.

    Providing financial reports and budget outlines to Executives.

    Track budgets and spending regarding IT systemsRegular status reporting for projects and build/share consolidated view at regular intervalsMonitor the ticket status and outbound communication.

    Manage ongoing contracts with vendors (e.g. development platforms, 3rd party vendors, and software licenses)Provide support to stakeholders, collaborating with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and plan projects.
    Help resolve issues escalated by the technology team (with business owners, Infra, etc.)

    Finds ways to use time and resources more cost-effectivelyGood interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.

    QUALIFICATIONSA Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or IT / Comp Science would be an advantageA minimum of

    5 to

    7

    years of experience in a similar position will be an advantage.
