We are seeking an experienced Assistant BIM Coordinator specialized in architecture to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in Building Information Modeling (BIM) with a focus on architectural projects. The Assistant BIM Coordinator will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and maintain BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of BIM models for architectural projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure BIM models meet project requirements and standards.
• Perform clash detection and coordination reviews to identify and resolve conflicts within BIM models.
• Assist in the preparation and production of design, construction drawings and documentation from BIM models.
• Prepare monthly/weekly progress reports & other documents as per the BIM project requirements
• Prepare quantity take-off reports from the BIM models to get the BOQ
• Support the implementation of BIM processes and standards within the organization.
• Provide training and support to team members on BIM software and workflows.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate BIM-related activities as required.
• Assist in quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of BIM models and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance BIM workflows and efficiency.

Skills Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience working with BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks in architectural projects.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction methods.
• Proficiency in BIM modelling, including creating families, parameters, views, and schedules.
• Experience in clash detection and coordination using BIM software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and protocols (e.g., BIM Execution Plan, COBie, LOD).
• Familiarity with other relevant software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and SketchUp is a plus.
• Certification in BIM-related software or processes is desirable.
