As an Insurance
Benefit Verification Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of
medical insurance claims.

Your primary responsibility will be to verify patient insurance coverage and benefits, thereby enabling the billing team to submit claims correctly and minimize claim denials.

You will be a vital link between healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to facilitate seamless healthcare reimbursement.


Key Responsibilities:


Insurance Verification:

Verify patient insurance information, including coverage, eligibility, and benefits.

Contact insurance companies, either by phone or electronically, to obtain and confirm insurance details.

Update and maintain accurate patient insurance records in the billing system.


Benefit Assessment:

Analyze insurance policies and documentation to determine coverage limitations, deductibles, co-pays, and other relevant information.

Communicate benefit information to the billing and coding teams to ensure accurate claim submissions.


Documentation:

Maintain detailed records of insurance verification activities, including notes on conversations and outcomes.

Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and company standards.


Problem Resolution:

Identify and resolve discrepancies or issues related to insurance coverage.

Collaborate with insurance companies and internal teams to resolve insurance-related problems efficiently.


Compliance:

Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance policies and regulations.

Adhere to HIPAA and other relevant data privacy and security regulations.


Salary:
₹15, ₹16,000.00 per month
