    Senior Data Science & AI Specialist

    You will be working as Senior Data Science & AI Specialist at global grade 13 and will be part of Finance Services Business Area for Financial Planning & Analysis Services Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Manager - Advanced Analytics and AI and will be responsible for working with business managers to frame a problem both mathematically and within the business context. Understanding business data and how to use it appropriately in data analysis.

    Your responsibilities

    • Performing exploratory data analysis to gain a deeper understanding of the problem and constructing fit statistical, machine learning or optimization models
    • Developing appropriate advanced statistical, machine learning and/or deep learning models and algorithms to classify structured or unstructured data
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and developing analytical solutions to optimize business processes
    • Enabling ML models deployment, integration, bridging the gap between data science and operations to ensure the efficient and effective use of machine learning models in real-world applications
    • Supporting the scoping and implementation of technical solutions estimating, prioritizing and coordinating development activities
    • Testing performance of machine learning and deep learning models
    • Performing analysis using industry leading text mining, data mining, analytical tools and open source software
    • Leading role mentoring multiple Junior data scientists on approach and results

    Your background

    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Applied Statistics/Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research or related field.
    • At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in Advanced Analytics, Statistical modeling, machine learning supervised and unsupervised forecasting, classification, clustering
    • Experience in analyzing the complex problems and translate into data science algorithms
    • Highly proficient with analytical or predictive modeling software. Preferred Python/R/SAS or similar and strong understanding and experience with predictive or analytical modeling techniques, theories, principles and practices
    • Experience in cloud implementation of end-to-end Analytics project ensuring robust, scalable and innovative solution
    • Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and Big data technology experience in Spark, Hadoop, Hive SQL
    • Experience with Teradata, SQL, relational databases and data warehouse
