    About This Role:

    The Accounts Payable (AP) and Travel & Expense (T&E) Associate is a member of the finance global shared services team, reporting to the team lead. This role processes vendor invoices and T&E reports and assists with payments using Concur and PeopleSoft. Primarily, this role entails processing APAC vendor invoices and T&E and providing cover for processing and payment of EMEA and North American vendor invoices and T&E as needed. The successful candidate will work on the shared services finance team to maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships focused on delivering timely and accurate services.

    Job Description:

    • Unassigned invoices: Review, code, and assign invoices in Concur daily.
    • Invoice approval: Ensure that all invoices are reviewed in Concur and are correctly coded, including correct coding for prepaid, fixed assets, etc., per the company policy.
    • Reconcile invoices from Concur to PeopleSoft on a batch basis.
    • Assist with payment runs in PeopleSoft for vendor invoices as needed.
    • Resolve vendor queries and reconcile vendor statements.
    • Assist with compiling the list of accruals for the month-end close.
    • Process employee expense reports (T&E) in Concur per the global expenses policy.
    • Resolve expense-reports-related issues with employees.
    • Assist the team lead/finance managers with entity-related information such as GST, payments, tax workings, audits, month-end close, etc.
    • Become an expert in Concur to support internal business users with invoice questions and training.
    • Update manuals to document all monthly procedural steps.
    • Conduct ad hoc reporting, additional projects involving account analysis and research, month-end duties, and responses to audit requests.

    Job Requirements:

    • Some experience in similar companies, preferably in a finance shared service center.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of accounting software applications such as Concur and PeopleSoft is a plus.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • The ability to collaborate effectively with international and cross-functional teams.
