Purpose of the Job


He/she is the technical interface between the DMS Development team, the Tenders/Projects and service teams in supporting the DMS Program Manager to build a product roadmap and efficiently deploy the DMS on Projects.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • In the following description the System represents the Diagnostic and Maintenance System.
  • During pretendering phases, present and defend Alstom Transport solutions to Customers in order to guide Request for Proposals writings. Participate to Questions & Answers sessions proposed by Customers
  • Analyse the development of the System requested by Projects and propose customeroriented design to the Project Engineering Manager
  • At project launch, confirm the gap analysis performed during tender phase
  • Ensure that the System (Usage & technical documents) is known and applied by Projects and Tenders
  • Facilitate (correspondence, meetings...) resolution of technical issues between the System and Project. Be the front office of the System for troubleshooting / root cause identification in all phases of the user projects
  • Define in collaboration with DMS Program Manager, the DMS roadmap in order to meet tender and project expectations
  • Attend the System Change Control Boards (CCB) in order to ensure that user project need could be implemented in an optimized way
  • Propose System evolutions to the DMS Program Manager according to Return on Experience captured on projects execution as well as the needs collected from the service teams in Maintenance contracts execution
  • According to the number of tenders and projects required, the role may require in the future to manage hierarchically a team of SAA

Qualification and Skills:


  • A Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent is required for this role along with at least years of experience in supervision or diagnostic system SW development
  • 5 years of have experience in signaling industry is required
  • Strong teamwork and a dynamic person is required for this role.
  • The job will be located Bangalore with travels excepted mainly in Europe and Asia.
  • The job requires fluent written and spoken English.
  • Experience of working with Indian culture people is a plus
