- Primary SKill Set - SDWAN Silverpeak, Routing & Switching
- Relevant Experience - 3+ years(need to be supporting for L3 in Silverpeak) and 6+ years(Routing & Switching)
- The candidate must be into network operations not into implementation.
- Typically requires 8-10 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- SME level understanding of networking concepts and protocols – Routing, Switching and SDWAN
- Minimum 3 years of Level-3 hands-on experience on following solutions:
- Legacy and SDWAN LAN and WAN Remote/NOC Managed Services
- Silver peak SDWAN technologies (Cisco Viptela/Meraki are added advantage)
- Dynamic Routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Good exposure to Silver Peak's cloud portal, orchestrator, and Edge connects.
- Desired exposure on Silver Peak's Unity Orchestrator and EdgeConnect SDWAN appliances
- Hands – on experience in implementation of advanced deployments, including out of path implementations using BGP, WCCP, PBR and VRRP. and support and troubleshooting of an Edge Connect SD-WAN.
- The Deploying WANOP Technologies (DWT): configuring and managing a Silver Peak optimized WAN.
- Knowledge on Silver Peak's WAN Optimization (Boost) technologies, using the NX/VX product families.
- Desired exposure on SD-WAN Design, Site audit templates, policies, and test plan for individual sites. Deployment of silver peak SDWAN solutions
- Hands on experience in unity Edge connect: zero-touch provisioning, Dynamic path control (DPC), Wan hardening, path conditioning, and cloud intelligence.
- Unity orchestrator: Single screen administrator, real time monitoring and historical reporting and bandwidth cost saving report.
- Unity boost: latency mitigation and Data reduction.
- In depth Knowledge on QoS and troubleshoot on QoS Policies.
- Create, Configure & troubleshoot the device templates.
- Troubleshoot the SD WAN policies / network through central Dashboards.
- Migration experience from non-SD WAN to SD WAN sites & should involve in preparation of template.
- Debugging / troubleshooting issues such as hardware & operation issues.
- Troubleshooting issues such as device failover, Site-to-site VPNs (IPSEC), remote access VPN's and AnyConnect VPN's (SSL), IP Conflict etc.
- Advanced troubleshooting production problems with RCA and fault diagnosis.
- Migration experience from traditional WAN to SD-WAN (Silver peak, Viptela Fortinet etc)
- Knowledge on VPN technologies (MPLS, DMVPN, IPsec, GRE) and Wireless (Cisco - traditional and Meraki Cloud based solutions, Aruba & Forti-Wireless).
- Understanding of wireless and wired networks, including 802.11, 802.1x, firewalls, content filters, routing/switching, SDWAN etc.
- Knowledge on LAN technologies (HSRP, VRRP, GLBP), MAC/NAC security, DHCP, STP, 802.1X Authentication, IPv4 and IPv6 ACLs)
- Tier 2 / 3 Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management of the Aruba & Cisco products and technologies.
- Perform patch/vulnerability assessment and patch management.
- Knowledge on REST API & Python programming.
- Knowledge on various network management and reporting tools.
- Should possess very good communication skills to interact with global clients.

The MS Engineer (L3) is responsible for providing a service to clients by proactively identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems. Through preemptive service incident and resolution activities, as well as product reviews, operational improvements, operational practices and quality assurance this role will maintain a high level of service to clients. Their primary objective is to ensure zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions.The MS Engineer (L3) is responsible for managing tickets of high complexity, conducts advanced and complicated tasks, and provides resolution to a diverse range of complex problems. This position uses considerable judgement and independent analysis within defined policies and practices. Applies analytical thinking and deep technical expertise in achieving client outcomes, while coaching and mentoring junior team members across functions.

Provides technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems. Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering. May be involved in customer installation and training. Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature. Survey Tip: In software companies this position generally interacts directly with the customer/user when the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature, such as with systems level software where the user has a technical background. In a less sophisticated environment, as with many applications products where the user is nontechnical, this position would generally interact with product support personnel and potentially the customer when the customer's problem cannot be resolved directly by first-level resources.
