Role Purpose


The role is responsible for handling cash related activities including over the counter cash/credit transactions, related billing activities, resolving customer queries and reconciling daily transactions as assigned.

Furthermore, work along with team in improving effectiveness of cashier function following accounting standards, departmental SOP, norms & standards ensuring exceptional customer service


What you will be doing

  • Responsible for maintaining cash/credit/cheque transaction as per department and customer requirement.
  • Ensure timely, accurately processing and organizing of customer transactions
  • Ensure management of cash variances and maintenance of all files, records, cash and cash equivalents as per policy
  • Update cash registers & their contents, reconcile cash with receipts at the end of the day and check for accuracy in daily transactions
  • Resolve customer queries/complaints proactively related to the billing process and highlight returns/refunds to supervisor.
  • Generate, maintain and provide periodic transaction reports whenever necessary.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by line manager

What we are looking for

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
  • Effective Communication skills, Teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of oral and written English and local language as indicated
