    Recrud is excited to partner with a leading organization in the biopharmaceutical domain to find an exceptional candidate for the role of Senior Director - Data Engineering & Analytics, focusing on commercial technology.

    This opportunity is based in Bengaluru and offers the chance to be at the forefront of driving technological innovation within the healthcare industry.


    Position :
    Senior Director - Data Engineering & Analytics.

    Experience Required : 18+ years, with at least 10+ years in a focused role.


    Location :
    Bengaluru.


    Educational Qualification :
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.


    Role Overview :

    The selected candidate will lead the charge in harnessing the power of cloud data platforms and analytics to enhance commercial global data platforms and analytics initiatives.

    This leadership role encompasses the management of a significant team within the Global Commercial Data and Analytics domain and reports directly to the VP of Commercial Platforms, Analytics & Technology.


    Responsibilities :

    • Spearhead the development and management of cloudnative data platforms and lakehouse solutions, ensuring scalability for Data Products & AI/ML Solutions.
    • Collaborate with the global Commercial Head of Data to achieve data and analytics objectives.
    • Oversee people leadership within the organization, pushing the boundaries of technology to support the Digital and Tech and Digital Fuel teams in adopting modern data engineering and management practices.
    • Lead the team in developing, implementing, and optimizing Data, AI, and GenAI architecture strategies.
    • Act as a key advisor to executivelevel leaders, offering solutions to business problems through modern architectural practices.
    • Drive the modernization of tech stacks and data platforms in partnership with Product Management and Engineering teams.

    Requirements :

    • A robust foundation in Azure Cloud Solution Architecture, Data Engineering, and data architecture, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's degree in a related field.
    • Demonstrated leadership in managing large data engineering, data management, and cloud operations teams.
    • Expertise in architecting cloudcentric solutions and a comprehensive understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS capabilities.
    • Proficiency with Azure Services and Data components, Databricks, Delta Lake, and related technologies.
    • A strong background in DevOps and MLOps pipelines, cloud cost management, and Master Data Management platforms.
    • Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodology experience is required, along with excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
