Installation Technician


Position Overview:

The Installation Technician is responsible for ensuring the successful installation, configuration, and testing of various systems, equipment, and technologies.

This role involves working closely with clients, project managers, and technical teams to deliver seamless installation services that meet or exceed client expectations.

The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.


Key Responsibilities:


System Installation:

  • Execute the installation of hardware, software, and other components based on project requirements.
  • Assemble and configure equipment according to specifications and guidelines.
  • Ensure proper cable management and connection of devices.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough testing of installed systems to verify functionality and performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues during the testing phase.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to resolve any defects or inconsistencies.

Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and test results.
  • Create detailed documentation outlining installation procedures for reference and future maintenance.

Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide input to improve installation processes and optimize workflows.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during installations to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Professional Development:

  • Stay uptodate with advancements in relevant technologies and industry trends.
  • Pursue training opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
- equipment installation, electronics, or a related field is advantageous.

  • Solid understanding of technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Proficiency in basic hand and power tools for assembly and installation.
  • Strong problemsolving skills ,logical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy in documentation and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment as required during installations.

Working Conditions:

The Installation Technician role involves a combination of office, workshop, and on-site work. Depending on the projects, the technician may need to travel to various client locations for installations. The position may also require standing, lifting, and working in different environments, including outdoor and confined spaces.


Job Types:

Salary:
Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
