Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and network devices.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime and availability.
Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning to safeguard data and system integrity.
Keep systems uptodate with patches, updates, and security protocols.
Maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN connections.
Monitor network traffic, detect and mitigate security threats, and implement cybersecurity measures.
Provide technical support to endusers, addressing hardware and software issues.
Resolve technical problems, and offer guidance to users.
Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for hardware and software procurement and support.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement IT projects and initiatives.
Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and solutions to enhance system efficiency.
Implement and enforce IT policies, including security measures and data protection.
Assist in planning and executing technology upgrades and migrations.
Participate in oncall rotations for afterhours support and emergencies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix) and network protocols.
Experience with network administration, including routing, switching, and firewalls.
Proficiency in system and network monitoring tools.
Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)) are a plus.
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and data protection regulations.
