    Overview

    Energy & Utilities team has been actively working in the space of energy transition and distribution reforms with philanthropic funders and government stakeholders. In one of its key projects', we are assisting one of the state governments in drafting their RE policy and implementation guidelines. Historically, the state has not been able to attract private sector investment. Through this opportunity, we expect the intern will focus on creating a detailed strategic analysis of RE policy's impact on the private sector stakeholders in the space (both currently present in the state and the ones who wish to enter the state) through comprehensive market assessment of the current ecosystem. The internship will also delve into discovering key areas of interest for the private sector in the sustainability and RE space and the relevant organizations to reach out to.

    Skills:

    Strong Secondary and primary research skills

    Understanding of corporate sustainability and business strategy

    Ability to grasp and explain complex issues easily

    Proficiency in MS Office

    Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough secondary and primary research on private sector renewable energy and sustainability requirements and their strategies to achieve the targets
  • Drafting reports and presentations as per the requirement of the project
  • Assisting with data cleansing, analysis, data tracking
  • Planning, coordinating, organizing stakeholder discussions
    • Qualifications

  • Recent degree recipient (within the past calendar year) AND/OR currently enrolled in (advanced) undergraduate or graduate student, who studied or is studying one of the following fields: Economics, Energy, Sustainability, Business Administration
  • Experience of Market Research and understanding of Business Strategy, Corporate Sustainability
  • Ability in developing and creating easy to understand reports/ presentations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of or familiarity with qualitative research methodologies
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
