Title: Area Manager-Sales (Stellite)
Location: Chennai
Education & Relevant Experience (in brief):
- Engineering graduate in Mechanical or Industrial Production, preferably with a background in Management.
- Ideally, 12 to 15 years of experience in Sales and Application development.
- Solid understanding of the materials market, particularly in the Stellite segment.
- Familiarity with PTA/Welding process, Spray Coatings, and HVOF processes.
- Proficient in effectively communicating product and technical information to customers.
- Capable of competently assessing customer needs.
- Customer-oriented, adept at managing change and uncertainties, and willing to take risks.
- Results-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
- Demonstrate leadership with courage and energy.
- Willingness to travel extensively.

Key Responsibilities:
- Grow the materials business in the region and support existing distributors.
- Directly engage with key accounts to expand the business, ensuring high market share.
- Identify and develop new applications and grades according to market demand.
- Assist in the development of component business in sectors such as Refineries, Steel, Oil and Gas, etc.
- Create effective solutions for both materials and components business at Stellite India.
- Collaborate with Kennametal Stellite manufacturing sites in the USA and China for quotes, market information, cost evaluation, stock policies, etc.
