    MARLO, short for "Maritme Loans" was born from a unique blend of expertise in shipping, banking, and risk management. We set sail with a singular mission: to revolutionize the way small shipping companies access capital. Traditional banks have retreated from maritime lending due to regulatory constraints, leaving the sector in a financial void.

    MARLO offers a specialized lending marketplace designed exclusively for the maritime industry. Our platform fills the gap led by traditional financial institutions, providing concurrency business accounts and tailored accounting modules like receivables and parables. We also ensure compliance with the ever-changing regulatory landscape, making us not just a fin-tech firm but your financial co-pilot in the complex seas of maritime commerce.

    We currently have offices in London, Singapore, Dubai, Hamburg and Chennai with representatives in Athens.

    Role

    We are looking for a Senior Soware Developer.

    What You'll Do

    • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic
    • Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
    • Develop high-quality software design and architecture
    • Training and coaching developers as and when required
    • Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
    • Implementation of security and data protection
    • Integration of data storage solutions

    You Should Have

    • 6+ years of experience with Python
    • Excellent experience with Django and Fast API
    • Knowledge of is advantageous
    • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
    • Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
