    Description

    I am currently working with one of India's largest proprietary trading firms with a focus on Algorithmic Trading in asset classes, they have a global presence with offices in many of the financial capitals of the world.


    Their systematic quantitative approach coupled with their proprietary ultra-low latency trading systems and exceptional risk management; they have developed highly effective strategies across many asset classes.


    Currently they need experienced FPGA developers to build out their new hardware platform for ultra-low latency trading, you will be an integral part of every stage of the build and will have responsibility to architect their systems with the intention of handling their most latency critical strategies.


    Responsibilities :
    In-depth knowledge of how to build Low latency trading systems from initial build to integration.
    Experience building systems with Verilog/System Verilog
    Development of test harnesses using self-checking test benches, BFMs etc.
    Integration of the firmware on the desired hardware with other system components


    Qualification & Skills:
    Degree qualified in electronics/ engineering ideally from a top 10 ranked university in India.
    Strong skills in design standards and in-depth knowledge of debugging skills
    FPGA Architecture experience is essential.
    An appreciation of other engineering disciplines is a bonus for example, Software, Networking.
    Some networking experience beneficial
    Experience of working on large Altera and Xilinx FPGA's
    Knowledge of writing RTL in VHDL Verilog/System or Verilog.
    In-depth knowledge of Vivado and Questasim.
    Experience of scripting tools beneficial
