    Job Title: Offshore Proxy Product Owner / Business Analyst

    Job Description:

    Summary:

    As an Offshore Proxy Product Owner/Business Analyst, you will act as a liaison between onshore stakeholders and offshore development teams to ensure the successful delivery of software products. This role requires refining user stories, documenting requirements and acceptance criteria, translating business needs into technical tasks, and guiding offshore development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in Agile methodologies.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Refinement of User Stories:

    Collaborate with onshore stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into clear and concise user stories.

    Refine user stories by breaking them down into smaller, actionable tasks and ensuring they align with the overall product vision and goals.

    2. Documentation of Requirements and Acceptance Criteria:

    Document detailed requirements, acceptance criteria, and business rules for user stories to guide offshore development teams.

    Ensure that acceptance criteria are well-defined, measurable, and achievable within the given constraints.

    3. Translation of Business Needs to Technical Tasks:

    Work closely with onshore stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical tasks for offshore development teams.

    Provide clarification and guidance to developers on technical requirements and implementation details.

    4. Guidance for Offshore Development Team:

    Serve as a point of contact for offshore development teams, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.

    Facilitate communication between onshore stakeholders and offshore teams to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.

    5. Scrum Ceremonies Participation:

    Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

    Provide input and feedback to onshore stakeholders and offshore teams to continuously improve the development process.

    6. Risk Management and Issue Resolution:

    Identify and mitigate risks related to offshore development, such as communication barriers, cultural differences, and time zone challenges.

    Proactively address issues and conflicts that may arise during the development process to minimize disruptions and delays.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

    Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in Agile software development environments.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.

    Experience working with offshore development teams, preferably in distributed Agile environments.

    Knowledge of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

    Detail-oriented approach with a focus on delivering high-quality software products that meet customer needs and expectations.

    Preferred Skills:

    Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, Professional Scrum Product Owner).

    Experience in software development or technical roles, with a good understanding of software architecture and development processes.

    Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).

    Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Asana.
