Key accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Accountable for providing a quality service or product to customers and stakeholders
  • Enable the squad to deliver change at the pace and scale required for an organisation undertaking sustained transformation
  • Managing and motivating the team to ensure quality of delivery to customers and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of product and business strategy and lead large and/or complex analysis initiatives impacting one or more teams
  • Prioritise and organise the backlogs to ensure the deliveries deliver value early, ensuring the operational processes are documented and accepted
  • Develop reporting processes and updates that can be used by the Leadership team to better steer the squad.
  • Create a seamless process encompassing delivery, releases and general planning exercises in conjunction with your peers.
  • Deliver and maintain delivery plans and timelines to the Stakeholders and delivery teams
  • Challenges upwards given knowledge of delivery and awareness of complex systems and the broader picture
  • Identifies and anticipates need for changes to continuously improve quality and efficiency of output
  • Be able to foresee, prevent, and mitigate risks and issues with delivery, to take fresh views and avoid rigid thought patterns
  • Ability to negotiate, influence and work with business peers and management to achieve the right outcomes
  • Support your team in making effective decisions, collaborate across silos, speak up and take personal accountability
  • Identifying and escalating both delivery and operational risks to the management team.

  • Set the bar high for the team, provide timely feedback and hold yourself and them to account
  • Oversee operational delivery and ensure controls are followed

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Proven project management and Scrum Master expertise.
  • Strong working experience using Agile and DevOps
  • Proactive selfstarter who can manage their own workload and can juggle multiple priorities at the same time
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and orally, within a project team
  • Experience in data solutions, system integration, platform upgrades and migration activities
  • Strong coaching and mentoring ability
  • Strong conceptual and analytical skills, demonstrating outsidethebox problem solving skills, results oriented
  • Experience in project resource estimation
  • Experience in people management
  • Excellent Customer & stakeholder management skills
