    Quality Assurance Lead

    About the Role

    • Design and Implement: create automated testing solutions based on business requirements, define test scenarios, build test scripts using various tools/frameworks, and understand software development life cycle/Agile methodologies. Test applications across web, mobile, batch processing, CMS, REST services.
    • Be a Team Player: collaborate in a team-centric environment, communicate effectively, welcome diverse ideas, partner with cross-functional and remote teams. Additionally, mentor junior quality assurance engineers.
    • Be Curious & Innovative: stay updated on next-gen technology, testing tools, and contribute to process improvements.
    • Be an Agile Person: participate in sprint teams, address issues affecting QA sprints, identify process enhancements, and liaise with the technical team for sprint success.
    • Be an Effective Communicator: articulate complex technical issues, engage in peer reviews, and demonstrate strong listening skills. Communicate proficiently with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Take Ownership: ensure performance and reliability while implementing efficiency enhancements in testing solutions.

    About You

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is mandatory.
    • More than 9 years of experience in designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions in Java or similar Object-Oriented languages.
    • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Automation Team Lead or in a leadership capacity.
    • Expertise with Agile methodology, testing, and test automation techniques for over 2 years.
    • Hands-on experience with test automation tools & frameworks like QTP/UFT, Selenium, Worksoft.
    • Familiarity with performance, PEN, security & compliance, Mobile & Multi-browser, and Accessibility testing.
    • Proven record of leading onshore and offshore teams through end-to-end delivery.
    • Understanding and establishment of testing traceability.
    • Proficiency in Continuous Integration, TDD, and/or BDD concepts.
    • Leadership skills, including mentoring, setting technical objectives, and task delegation.
    • Knowledge of testing metrics and utilizing metrics for process improvements.
    • Experience with keyword and data-driven test automation frameworks.
    • Competence in white box and black box testing.
    • Additional experience with technologies such as Adobe Experience Manager, Cucumber-JVM, JavaScript, and ReactJS is a plus.
    • Extra experience in Performance, Accessibility, and Security testing is an advantage.
