    Welcome to the job description for the Resilience Risk Specialist, Emerging Technology Risk Lead at our company!

    We are on the lookout for a seasoned professional to join our team and take on the crucial role of overseeing Technology and Cyber security risks in relation to emerging technologies. This position plays a vital role in providing expert advice and support on maintaining a robust control environment to ensure that HSBC operates within its risk tolerance.

    This is a key role within our team, requiring a deep understanding of industry standards such as NIST, ITIL, COBIT, and COSO. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will have specific oversight of Enterprise Risk Management operations in our Bangalore office.

    We are seeking a highly experienced senior manager with the ability to engage with executive stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You should possess exceptional leadership skills and a track record of influencing decision-making processes at a senior level.

    Requirements:

    • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
    • Expertise in risk management practices and a deep understanding of digital and emerging technologies.
    • Thorough knowledge of control environments and industry standards related to Technology and Cyber security Risk management.
    • Excellent communication skills to build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders.
    • Comprehensive understanding of external landscapes including threats, regulations, competition, and technology.

    Additional Skills:

    • Ability to challenge existing practices while maintaining strong team relationships.
    • Effective time management to collaborate across different disciplines and time zones.
    • Adaptability to diverse cultural settings and interpersonal styles for building strong relationships.
    • Proficiency in applying Risk Management within relevant contexts.
