    Description

    Job Description: We are seeking a skilled andexperienced Big Data Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join ourteam. As a Big Data QA Engineer you will play a critical role inensuring the accuracy reliability and performance of our big datasolutions. You will collaborate closely with our development anddata science teams to design and execute comprehensive test plansidentify and document defects and ensure the overall quality of ourbig data applications.

    Responsibilities:

    • Designdevelop and execute test plans and test cases for big dataapplications including those involving machine learning algorithmsPerform manual and automated testing of data pipelinesETL processes and data analytics algorithmsDevelop and maintain test data sets for various testingscenarios including machine learning modelsAnalyze and document defects and work closely withdevelopment teams to resolve issues Identifyopportunities for test automation and contribute to the developmentof automated test scripts Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams to ensure the overall quality of big datasolutions Stay uptodate with industry bestpractices and emerging technologies in big data testing and machinelearning

    Requirements:

    • Bachelorsdegree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field3 years of experience in software quality assurance witha focus on big data testing and exposure to machine learningprojects Handson experience with big datatechnologies such as Hadoop Spark and KafkaStrong understanding of data modeling ETL processes anddata warehousing concepts Experience withSQL and scripting languages such as Python or JavaProven track record of designing and executing testplans for complex data applications including those involvingmachine learning models Excellent analyticaland problemsolving skills Strongcommunication and collaboration skills with the ability to workeffectively in a crossfunctional team environmentExperience with test automation tools such as Seleniumor JUnit is a plus Knowledge of cloudplatforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
