The jobholder will be responsible for ensuring that an excellent financial, management accounting, tax and statutory compliance service is provided for the entities they have ownership of.

The jobholder will require the ability, eagerness and drive to work within a wide network of colleagues and service partners in order to deliver to customer expectations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of month end postings by CoE divisional aligned financial accounting team to ensure correct legal entity position.
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of board papers
  • Attendance at board and presentation of finance papers
  • Full responsibility for preparation of legal entity statutory accounts, including all interaction with external auditors and Directors for signature.
  • Monthly analytical review of balance sheet and P&L
  • Interaction with Finance Business Partner
  • Ensuring all compliance related activities are completed within the statutory due date.
  • Interaction with pooled resources/ centralised process teams (projects, payroll, intercompany) to ensure all entries are correct at a legal entity level
  • Assistance with the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Adhere to due dates for Balance sheet pack and other statutory reporting as agreed / as per the statute.

Education and Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant or equivalent, preferable not mandatory
  • 8+ years of postqualification experience in the relevant areas
  • Strong accounting background as well as a good understanding of accounting regulations, Accounting Standards
  • A good understanding of the latest development in IAS/IFRS,
  • Ability to form strong customer relationships, an understanding of customer focus and service delivery
  • A good understanding of tax & statutory requirements
  • Strong communication skills
  • Highly proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
