Description

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum guidelines and educational objectives for environmental studies in primary school.
  • Teach students about environmental science topics such as conservation, biodiversity, climate change, pollution, and sustainable development.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and resources, including hands-on activities, field trips, multimedia presentations, and interactive discussions, to enhance student learning and engagement.
  • Assess student progress through regular assignments, projects, quizzes, and examinations, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment that promotes student participation, curiosity, and respect for nature.
  • Foster a love for the environment and encourage students to become responsible global citizens by promoting eco-friendly practices and raising awareness about environmental issues.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to integrate environmental studies across the curriculum and participate in school-wide environmental initiatives.
  • Stay updated on current trends and developments in environmental science education, attending professional development workshops and conferences as required.
  • Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding students' progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, and school events as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree with a specialization in Environmental Studies or English is a must.
  • Previous teaching experience in a primary school setting is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of environmental science concepts, sustainability practices, and conservation strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
  • Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners about environmental issues and the importance of preserving the natural world.
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports students' social-emotional well-being and encourages collaboration.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate diverse learning needs and modify instructional strategies accordingly.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology tools and resources for instruction and assessment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively plan lessons and manage student assessments.
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning.

Salary:
₹23, ₹25,000.00 per month
