    Job Overview


    TE Connectivity's Business Intelligence Teams are responsible for the processing, mining and delivery of data to their customer community through repositories, tools and services.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Accountable for providing detailed analysis about the performance of the Key Performance Indicators.
    • Building and managing smarter solutions including predictive models using existing tools for better managing business processes
    • The person is a self-starter, motivated and works with less supervision
    • Responsible for 360-degree global stakeholder Management
    • Provide solutions to business pain points – Diagnostic, Predictive and Prescriptive Analytics
    • Accountable for providing detailed analysis for set of Key Performance Indicators
    • ETL expertise to work with cloud and on-prim datasets to connect directly and create datasets and features for analysis
    • Designs and delivers core and ad hoc Analysis, along with first level interpretation to provide insights and support decision making by individuals, business group managers, and division leaders
    • Proactively identifying root causes of KPI changes and provide analysis to management
    • Generate and maintain business decision specific reports, dashboards and analytical solutions using multiple AI/BI tools, Business Objects, SAP, SQL Server, and other sources
    • Design dashboards or analysis using Tableau, Power BI, R, Python to provide meaningful views to the business - critical information
    • Communicate with multiple teams to gather information and provide management level summary
    • Solve ad-hoc requirement of management related to data for critical decision making
    • Provide clarification, training, and support to the development teams
    • Integrate Predictive & Prescriptive Models (machine learning solutions) in visualization to perform the analysis
    • Ability to think out of the box solution ideas for given business problems.

    Qualification And Experience

    • 5-10 Years experience in automotive/manufacturing industry preferred
    • Experience in providing insights on Engineering, Sales, Supply chain, Quality, Manufacturing data using Tableau/Power BI/Python
    • Knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS), SQL queries
    • Expert level proficiency in MS Office
    • Prior experience in delivering in Project Management System (Waterfall / Agile)
    • Good understanding of SCM and Quality Control processes
    • Experience in handling large volumes of data, providing insights, spotting anomalies, identifying trends and complex relationships
    • Translates business questions to analytical solutions and insights
    • Expert understanding of Engineering, Financial, Quality and Supply Chain terminologies and figures
    • Strong skills in stakeholder management
    • Fluent in English-written and spoken; additional knowledge of another language is an advantage
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and Culturally sensitive
    • Prior experience working in Agile way is a plus
    • Always willing to experiment with new tools & techniques to improve processes
    • Master's degree (preferably in Statistics / MBA) or B.Tech /B.E (preferably Computer Science)
