    Job Description:
    We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team.

    The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data engineering, machine learning, and experience working with large language models (LLMs) and data quality processes.

    The project in which the person will be assigned is a data engineering effort to support the current Data Science and Engineering team.

    This role will report to the Principal Data Quality Engineer.

    The application , hosted in AWS, includes EC2, S3, Lambda, Athena, DymanoDB, OpenSearch, CloudWatch, GLUE, Bedrock, SageMaker, Kendra, Amazon Q, Claude from Anthropic Titan Embeddings from in AWS, Python 3, Langchain, and Streamlit.


    Must Have Skills:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

    5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data pipelines, data warehousing, and data processing frameworks.

    Hands-on experience with AWS data services (e.g., S3, Athena, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis)
    Knowledge of data quality practices, including data profiling, data validation, and data governance.
    Proficiency in Python, SQL, and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Shell).
    Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
    Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.


    Desirable Skills:
    Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices.
    Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and their applications.
    Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
    Experience with AWS machine learning services
    Experience with Apache Spark and distributed data processing frameworks.
    Knowledge of streaming data processing and real-time data pipelines.
    Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and serverless computing.
    Experience with MLOps and model deployment processes.
