Specific deliverables:

Month End Close Support
Support lead FA in closing books during month end. Ensure necessary journals/accrual entries for revenue and costs are prepared and post in relevant system SAP/send to concerned team for posting within the respective timelines.
Maintains integrity of accounting and budgeting software systems by checking for errors and inconsistencies and coordinate with cross functional teams as needed to obtain the necessary information as part of analysing results.
Performs financial analysis including budgeting, trend analysis, forecasting, correcting, and financial modelling. Develops recommendations from information and results; considers and conducts additional analysis as appropriate.
Assists lead FA in completion and understanding of, budgets and other financial analysis.
Provide support on FP&A requirements monthly/quarterly etc., and update Cash flow and DSO post close.
Prepares, analyzes, and publishes monthly financial rolling forecast with detail to appropriate management.
Assists in developing financial controls, procedures, systems, and forecasting techniques to evaluate contract/program status and ensure compliance with government

and customer requirements.

Overview of Balance sheet account reconciliation and monitoring controls
Ability to provide the first level explanations on accounting transactions against the queries received from various internal and external stakeholders

Transactional support/ contribute in SOX, audits conducted by internal and external auditors.
