We are now looking to hire a driven Partner Sales Director (PSD) to join our high-impact Alliances and Channels group to help transform our partner ecosystem in India. Success in this position will require enabling strong, productive relationships at all levels within key partners, strengthening executive relationships, and driving initiatives that accelerate our business opportunities within the Cloud/Solution Provider/GSIs ecosystem. What you'll do
  • Identify, close, and onboard new partnerships to drive New Relic growth.
  • Fluently communicate our value proposition to sales, marketing, and technical audiences in partner organizations in order for them to be able to articulate the same value propositions to end-customers
  • Score and report on success metrics for each partner on a regular basis.
  • Work hand-in-glove with the New Relic Sales and Marketing organizations to align partners to their business strategy and customer propositions.
  • Manage day-to-day partner operations and develop deep relationships with key stakeholders within the partner organizations.
  • Coordinate the technical and marketing launches of integrated partnerships.
  • This role requires
  • + years of enterprise software sales, alliances, and channels experience
  • Have strong relationships with key executives of Hyperscalers, GSIs, born-in-the-cloud partners, and those active in the cloud provider partner networks of AWS, Google, and Microsoft
  • Demonstrated track record of successful quota attainment in a sales or channel sales role tracking all types measurements including sell-through, sell to, and sell with (partner influence)
  • Strategic and analytical Leadership skills and an ability to blend technology and a solution vision and business strategy to identify new partner opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical audiences when presenting the business value aspects of the proposition
  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and architectural scenarios, and explain them to others concisely, in words and images
  • Bonus points if you have
  • Application Performance Management or other monitoring platforms experience a plus.
  • Experience with alliances with, or selling into or working alongside/in, one or more of these environments: Platform as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service, Application Hosting Providers, other Cloud infrastructure.
