    About the Opportunity :

    The organization operates a Digital Transformation Unit that works on a variety of initiatives focused on preparing the organization and its clients for the rapidly evolving business landscape. For this purpose, we collaborate with teams internally as well as with clients to brainstorm and deliver innovative solutions to meet both immediate and future needs.

    Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Digital Transformation Unit

    Job Location :
    Gurugram


    What you'll be doing :
    • Identify and implement improvement projects across various capabilities affecting people, processes, and tools.
    • Demonstrate expertise in handling complex project implementations within set timelines.
    • Foster client relationships and oversee project delivery.
    • Collaborate with internal and client teams to comprehend current and future process/business states and contribute to strategic initiatives.
    • Develop detailed project plans for assigned projects.
    • Define project success criteria and critical path for assigned projects.
    • Ensure smooth communication flow by engaging with stakeholders and process owners.
    • Conduct weekly project review calls with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Provide periodic project status reports.
    • Lead Process or Account Governance activities.
    • Obtain PMP certification for industry-standard project management expertise within 9 months of role commencement.
    What you'll bring to the team :
    • Possess over 15 years of overall experience with more than 5 years in the insurance industry.
    • Proven track record in managing multiple projects and leading change.
    • Experience in managing teams of project managers.
    • Ability to identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and ensure project completion.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Basic knowledge of business operations.
    • Certification in Agile Scrum/PMP/Prince2.
    Preferred Skills :
    • Insurance Certification (e.g. CII or INS/CPCU).
    • Lean/Six Sigma training or certification (preferred).
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Word.
