    Description

    Role Overview :


    As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.

    You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems.

    Additionally, you will be responsible for automating deployment, configuration, and maintenance tasks using Ansible and Puppet, as well as troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues.


    Responsibilities :

    • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to meet the organization's requirements.
    • Collaborate with software development teams to define infrastructure requirements and best practices for deploying and running applications on GCP.
    • Develop automation scripts and workflows using Ansible and Puppet to streamline deployment, configuration, and maintenance tasks.
    • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices to provision and manage cloud resources using tools such as Terraform.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
    • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, build, and deployment of applications on GCP.
    • Ensure compliance with security policies and standards by implementing security controls and best practices in the cloud environment.
    • Collaborate with IT operations teams to define and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloudbased systems.
    • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in cloud computing, automation, and infrastructure management.

    Requirements :

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    • 610 years of experience in cloud infrastructure management, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
    • Indepth knowledge of cloud computing principles and technologies, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
    • Handson experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Puppet for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and orchestration.
    • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
    • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform is a plus.
    • Strong understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and best practices for cloud environments.
    • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a distributed system.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a crossfunctional team environment.
    • Relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Certified
    Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer are preferred.
