Description

As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving delicious coffee beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will work closely with the rest of the team to maintain cleanliness, uphold quality standards, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Coffee Beverages: Skillfully prepare a variety of coffee beverages such as espresso, cappuccino, latte, macchiato, and specialty drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences.

Customer Service: Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized service to all customers. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Strive to enhance the overall customer experience.

Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the coffee preparation area, including coffee machines, equipment, and serving counters. Adhere to sanitation and hygiene standards at all times.

Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems. Handle cash, credit cards, and electronic payments with integrity and attention to detail.

Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies. Restock items as needed to prevent shortages and ensure smooth operations.

Quality Control: Uphold high-quality standards for coffee preparation, including the freshness and taste of beverages. Conduct regular quality checks and address any issues promptly.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Assist colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a cohesive team dynamic.

Menu Knowledge: Stay informed about current menu offerings, including seasonal specials and promotions. Provide recommendations to customers based on their preferences and dietary restrictions.

Adherence to Policies: Follow company policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding food safety, beverage preparation, and customer service. Attend training sessions and meetings as required.


Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment.
• Stamina to work in a highenergy environment and handle repetitive tasks.
