    Description
    Team Purpose
    This is a prestigious position in the Cloud organization within Getronics. The business unit is responsible to maintain and provide excellent cloud services to customers. The cloud organization works on bid management, pre-sales, solution, service architecting, and support/execution of complex engagements.
    Role Purpose
    The Cloud Native Lead is a senior person responsible to own end-to-end technical responsibilities. Responsible for ensuring the best architecture and support are provided to the customer on behalf of Getronics. This role will also be the technical & people POC for the Public Cloud Delivery team customer engagements. This role will be also responsible for supporting the transition phase of existing or new customers.
    Responsibilities/Accountabilities
    ● Prepare the KMAP of the team and create upskill / training plan
    ● Review and update of Project specific documentation
    ● Plan and guide team in Managing day-to-day activities
    ● Assist in technology decision-making and proposing the best solution to the client for the capabilities/solutions we have during deal solution conversations
    ● Defines and leads overall software development and strategies ensuring software fully meets business, technical, and operational requirements
    ● Provides technical oversight while writing new software, making modifications to existing software, or integrating software applications and modules in accordance with agreed-upon specifications, often created by their leadership
    ● Explores design options and leads the creation of design and is accountable to ensure business and technical requirements are met
    ● Act as point of contact or a subject matter expert for Training Systems related technical capabilities
    ● Assists in the identification and implementation of short-term and long-term solution options, including risk assessments, and recommendations to business and technology leadership
    ● Coordinates and supports related groups, such as but not limited to internal/customer Product Managers, Content teams, quality assurance teams, support teams or operations/deployment teams
    ● Provides technical guidance in the area of subject matter expertise by possessing in-depth knowledge of cloud-native application development

    • Ensures self and team develop software using disciplined software development processes, adhering to team/company standards and software best practice guidelines, and corporate policies.
    ● Cloud Technologies:
    Provides insights into different cloud services like serverless computing, containerization, virtualization, and storage when needed by the team of Cloud Native Specialists
    ● Containerization Technologies:
    provides insights on containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. This includes knowledge of container orchestration and management, container networking, and security.
    ● DevOps:
    Maintains the DevOps culture and shares his/her understanding of the principles of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) to the team
    ● Ensures the team is proficient in source control management, build automation, and release management
    ● Programming Languages:
    Uses Programming experience in languages such as Java, Python, Go, and others along with knowledge of different frameworks and libraries to assist team members in need of help with live engagements
    ● Microservices Architecture:
    Brings knowledge of microservices architecture, including API design, service discovery, and load balancing to customer engagements
    ● Automation:
    Assist teams members in automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Chef where needed
    ● Researches and identifies standards and best practices as appropriate

    • Provide the team technical direction(s)/approach(es) to be undertaken and guide them in the resolution of queries/issues etc.
    ● Attend/drive various architectural, design, and status calls with multiple stakeholders
    ● Ensure end-to-end ownership of all tasks is aligned
    ● Test implementation, troubleshooting & correct problems
    ● Capable of working as an individual contributor and within a team too
    ● Conduct technical training(s)/session(s), write whitepapers/ case studies / blogs etc
    Required Technical Skills and Experience
    ● More than 10+ years of experience which can include IT Applications, Cloud and Data areas
    ● Minimum of 3 years experience managing a team containing a mix of traditional development and Cloud Native development skills
    ● Strong analytic skills related to working with large pieces of code
    ● A successful history of building, delivering applications, and managing teams that contribute to delivering applications using cloud-native technologies
    ● Agile/Scrum methodology experience is required
    ● Experience in Web architecture, Git and GitHub, HTTP and REST, and JavaScript packages
    ● Knowledge of database systems and SQ, database technologies, and frameworks (JSON, Angular, and React)
    ● Experience in Containerization, DevOps, Microservices Architecture and Automation
    ● Good working knowledge of Requirement gathering and analysis
    ● Hands-on experience with any of the Cloud (AWS/Azure)
    ● Passionate about exploring new technologies
    ● Good Communication Skills
    ● Knowledgeable in tools such as Microsoft Agile, JIRA, Confluence, or ServiceNow is preferred
    ● Microservices & Cloud Native Architecture exposure is a plus
    ● Experience or Knowledge of cloud migration projects that involved Cloud Native technology usage as per Gartner 6Rs
    ● Expertise in preparing Proposal/SOW will be good to have
    Certifications
    ● Agile certifications (, SAFE/PMI)
    ● ITIL methodologies will be good to have
    Educational Qualification
    ● Bachelor/Masters Degree from a reputed institute
