    Team Purpose
    This is a Lead position in the Cloud organization within Getronics. The business unit is responsible for maintaining and providing excellent cloud DevOps services to customers. The cloud delivery organization works closely with bid management, pre-sales, solution & service architects to support the execution of complex solutions.

    Role Purpose
    The Cloud DevOps Lead is a person responsible for managing the cloud infrastructure of platforms spanning across different cloud platforms. The ideal talent will liaison with the product team, business leads, and architects to bring out the best practices of system management and own end-to-end operations management and resolve highly complex issues. This role will also be responsible for building automation and scripts using native services or other tools within the Public Cloud services.
    Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Expert in the solution architecture discipline, processes, concepts, and best practices
  • Exposure to a process improvement discipline Six Sigma) used within a technology-supported business process implementation.
  • Project-based process design, information modeling, and/or system architecture in at least one of the following: Application Architecture, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Information architecture, Data Management, Security, or Infrastructure technologies
  • Provide operational support for applications, systems, or infrastructure.
  • Responsible for creating DevOps tools and capabilities to aid the current build activities and for the long-term running of the Innovation Center applications, for example, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and operational monitoring.
  • Develop code within a software development team having familiarity with the entire software development lifecycle including version control, build process, testing, and code release, and be comfortable working/leading on multiple workstreams.
  • Conceptualizes, architects, designs, implements, and supports integrated solutions in support of business demand.
  • Must have experience of any one of the programming languages (Java, .Net, Python)
  • Ability to select appropriate AWS/Azure/GCP services to design and deploy an application based on given requirements.
  • Configure and manage data sources like MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch, Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop, etc.
  • Understand how IT operations are managed Strong knowledge of automated infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible/Puppet/Chef
  • Perform configuration management and disaster recovery tasks in your new environment.
  • Provide input for the design and construction of test cases and scenarios and may also, validate executed test results.
  • Review and drive change management along with Team.
  • Review and update of Project specific documentation.
  • Prepare the KMAP of the team and create upskill / training plan.
  • Must have effective communication skills, and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Must have strong analytical & troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to support & technically mentor team members.
    Required Technical Skills and Experience
  • More than 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, Cloud Infrastructure, and Cloud DevOps.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of DevOps Technologies like Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift.
  • Expertise in one or more public Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Python/Bash/Ruby/Groovy/Go/PowerShell, etc.,)
  • Hands-on build and deploy IaC, Terraform, Azure DevOps, and Ansible automation.
  • Write scripts and automation using Perl/Python/Groovy/Java/Bash
  • Experience using Chef, Puppet, Saltstack or a related technology.
  • Solid development and scripting background (bash, ruby, python)
  • Experience delivering IT Automation solutions.
  • Experience with orchestration systems for Docker containers is highly desirable
  • Manage source control including SVN and GIT
  • CI/CD pipeline setup/deployment
  • Experience with AWS CLI, AWS APIs, AWS CloudFormation templates, the AWS
    Billing Console and the AWS Management Console
  • Experience with Azure CLI, Azure REST APIs, Azure Resource Manager template, Azure billing/cost management, and the Azure Management Console
  • Utilize various open-source technologies to develop DevOps Scripts
  • Experience delivering IT Automation solutions.
  • Experience with orchestration systems for Docker containers highly desirable
  • Experience in build release and configuration management practices, including branch-based development and patch/merging-oriented workflow.
  • Terraform & ARM template creation experience.
  • Automation Implementation Experience
    Certifications
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer / Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert -Mandatory
  • Certifications on any CI/CD – Mandatory
  • Certifications on any Programming – Optional
  • ITIL and or Agile methodologies – Optional
    Educational Qualification
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputed institute
